Lindolfo Hill

Lindolfo Hill (born January 19, 1917 in Juiz de Fora ; † unknown) was a Brazilian trade unionist and politician of the Partido Comunista Brasileiro .

Grandfather Franz Hill emigrated from Wendelsheim to Juiz de Fora in 1858 . The trained bricklayer Lindolfo Hill was the first elected city representative of the Communist Party of Brazil in Juiz de Fora from 1947 to 1951. In 1945 he took part as union leader of the construction workers' union as one of three Brazilian delegates at the founding congress of the World Trade Union Confederation . He was a member of the central committee of the PCB.

Hill was named the Rua Vereador Lindolfo Hill in Neighborhood Santos Dumont in the city of Juiz de Fora.
