The Democratic Alliance for Niger ( French : Alliance Démocratique pour le Niger , abbreviation: ADN-Fusaha ) is a political party in Niger .

history

The Democratic Alliance for Niger emerged in 2014 as a split from the Nigerien Democratic Movement for an African Federation (MODEN-FA Lumana Africa). The party founder Habi Mahamadou Salissou had previously fallen out with Hama Amadou , the chairman of MODEN-FA Lumana Africa. The founding meeting of the Democratic Alliance for Niger took place in August 2014. Habi Mahamadou Salissou was appointed party leader. The Democratic Alliance for Niger was approved as a party by the Interior Ministry on November 3, 2014.

In the 2016 general election , the party won one of 171 seats in the National Assembly . In the 2016 presidential election she supported incumbent Mahamadou Issoufou of the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (PNDS-Tarayya).
