The Alliance of Movements for the Rise of Niger ( French Alliance des Mouvements pour l'Émergence du Niger , abbreviation: AMEN-AMIN ) is a political party in Niger .

history

The Alliance of Movements for the Rise of Niger was founded on July 30, 2015 under the leadership of Omar Hamidou Tchiana . Tchiana had previously been a functionary in the Nigerien Democratic Movement for an African Federation (MODEN-FA Lumana Africa), but had fallen out with its party leader Hama Amadou in mid-2013 .

In the 2016 general election , the Alliance of Movements for the Rise of Niger won three out of 171 seats in the National Assembly . In the 2016 presidential election she supported incumbent Mahamadou Issoufou of the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (PNDS-Tarayya).
