Line Berggren Larsen (born October 30, 1998 ) is a Danish handball player who belongs to the squad of the Danish national beach handball team.

Career

Line Berggren Larsen was already part of the EH Aalborg women's squad during her time in the A-youth , which was then in the second highest Danish division. In 2018 she rose to the top Danish league with Aalborg. In the 2018/19 season, the backcourt player scored a total of 98 goals in 26 top division games. In the following season, the right-hander played only 17 league games in which she scored 88 goals due to a torn ligament in her thumb and the end of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic . Since EH Aalborg was at the end of the season on the last place in the table, the team had to relegate. She then signed a contract with the Danish first division club Aarhus United from the 2020/21 season .

Line Berggren Larsen appeared 5 times for the Danish national youth team and 18 times for the Danish junior national team. With the youth national team she took part in the European Summer Olympic Youth Festival 2015 , where she had to admit defeat in the final of the Russian selection with 20:21. Line Berggren Larsen has been a member of the Danish national beach handball team since 2019, for which she has scored 84 points in 10 international matches. During the Beach Handball Euro 2019 she made her debut for the national team on July 2, 2019. During the tournament she was used in every game and won the gold medal.
