Linedata is a French international IT company specializing in software solutions for data processing in the finance and insurance industry. The company employs over 1,300 people and in fiscal 2018, over 170 million euro revenues . The company is part of the CAC Small stock index .
Background and story
Linedata was created on January 1st, 1998 from the merger of three small IT companies, namely GSI Division des Banques , Line Data and BDB Participation . As a result, the company grew both organically and through various acquisitions, for example in Luxembourg along with international expansion. In 2000 it went public and was listed in the new market segment of the newly established, transnational Euronext exchange . In March 2001, the company entered the US market with the acquisition of Longview Group , which is active in Great Britain and the United States . After further acquisitions in the following years, the company entered the Asian market with the purchase of Beauchamp Financial Technology , which among other things had one of its headquarters in Hong Kong . 2015 took over Anvaraly Jiva , co-founder of the company in 1998, with his company Amanaat the majority of Linedata.
In January 2018, the London Stock Exchange was won as a contractual partner; all transactions carried out on the stock exchange are made available to the relevant banking supervisory authorities via line data software.
For a long time, Linedata focused on the banking sector and investment management , later the business activities were expanded first to the leading sector and later to the insurance business . The focus is on the implementation and maintenance of software solutions.
Linedata is involved in the think tank Institut Montaigne .
