Linet Group SE, with its legal seat in Dordrecht (Netherlands), is a German-Czech company specializing in medical technology, especially in the manufacture of beds for hospitals and nursing homes. With production sites in Wickede (Ruhr) and in Slany and Frycovice in the Czech Republic as well as sales companies in Europe and the USA, the operative business is carried out in more than 100 countries with over 1,600 employees. In the 2018/19 financial year, the group generated sales of around EUR 287 million and with around 100,000 nursing and hospital beds is one of the leading providers in Europe.

The group acts as the holding company of the two subgroups Wissner-Bosserhoff (Wi-Bo) and Linet, which in 2011 merged their respective activities in the Linet Group.

  • Wi-Bo: The founding of the Wissner-Bosserhof GmbH based in Wickede (Ruhr) goes back to the year 1952; Within the group, Wi-Bo specializes in the development of beds and equipment for nursing homes.
  • Linet: Linet spol. s ro, based in Slaný near Prague (Czech Republic), was founded in 1990 in Prague by the entrepreneur Zbyněk Frolík shortly after the fall of the communist regime. The Linet subgroup specializes in the manufacture of beds and equipment for hospitals.
