Line Commissioner
The line commissioner (also: line commissioner, railway line commissioner) was an active staff officer in the German Empire and the military member of a line commission ; together with the railway agent, a higher civil railway official of the respective railway administration (usually at the level of the respective railway directorate ), he formed the railway line commission.
