Line technique
The term line technology is technical jargon of the Deutsche Bundespost Telekom (today Deutsche Telekom ) and includes the construction and maintenance of the telephone network . This includes the facilities of the "local access network":
- Main distributor in the exchange
- Cable splitter and line splitter (LVz)
- "Apron facilities", such as communal switchover switches and selector star switches in the former analog telephone network
- Termination point for line technology ( end branch )
- Cable duct systems
- Telecommunication cables ( underground cables , aerial cables )
- Above-ground installations ( telephone mast , aerial cables , overhead lines )
