Linzhang

Linzhang ( Chinese  臨漳縣  /  临漳县 , Pinyin Línzhāng Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Handan in the south of the Chinese province of Hebei . It has an area of ​​744 km² and has approx. 580,000 inhabitants (2003).

The site of the ancient city of Ye (鄴) - the capital of the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Northern Qi Dynasty - has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (3-213) since 1988 .
