Lisa Stadler

Lisa Stadler (born August 20, 1988 in Kittsee ) is an Austrian sailor .

Lisa Stadler started sailing at the age of seven on a school project led by Stefan Hess. After minor successes, she took part for the first time in 2001 in Las Palmas at a European Championship. In 2002 she took part in the World Cup in Texas . For the last time she took part in the Optimist class at the 2003 European Championships in Croatia .

Stadler then switched to a new boat class ( Zoom8 ) and achieved the following placements:

  • 2003 European Championship - Poland, 9th place
  • 2003 World Cup - France, 5th place
  • 2003 and 2004 Austrian youth champion
  • 2004 EM - Austria (Neusiedl), 2nd place
  • 2004 World Cup - Holland, 2nd place

At the end of 2004, Stadler switched to the Olympic boat class 470 . In 2005 she took a break for school reasons.
