Lisa Weinstein

Lisa Weinstein is an American film producer .

Life

Weinstein grew up as the daughter of the film producer Hannah Weinstein . In 1990 she produced her first and so far only feature film, Jerry Zucker’s fantasy comedy Ghost - Message from Sam . For this she was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Film in 1991 . She is married to director Martin Brest and the couple has a son born in 1987. Her sister Paula Weinstein is also a film producer.
