Paula Weinstein

Paula Weinstein (born November 19, 1945 in New York City ) is an American television and film producer .

The daughter of producer Hannah Weinstein and sister of Lisa Weinstein grew up in Europe and attended Columbia University . Paula Weinstein initially worked in the New York Mayor's office and was entrusted with the management of special events until 1973. Then, until 1976, she worked in Los Angeles as an agent for the artist agencies William Morris Agency and International Creative Management. The New Yorker finally switched to the film industry: from 1976 to 1978 she was Vice President in Production at Warner Bros. and from 1978 to 1980 Senior Vice President at Twentieth Century Fox . In 1980/81, Weinstein was Vice President and Partner of the Ladd Company and President of United Artists from 1981 to 1982 . This was followed by employment with Columbia Pictures as an independent producer and consultant (1983/84).

In 1984 Weinstein participated in the founding of WW Productions, in 1987 she moved to Metro Goldwyn Mayers Worldwide Division as an Executive Consultant . In 1990 she founded the production company Spring Creek Pictures with her then-husband, producer Mark Rosenberg (1948–1992). She stayed there until 1998. In that year, Weinstein was involved in founding Baltimore / Spring Creek Productions and stayed there until 2002. From 2003, she was President of Spring Creek Pictures in Burbank, California. In 2013, she became vice president of the film company Tribeca Productions .
