Lisandra

Lisandra is a female given name , which occurs particularly in Latin American-speaking areas and is derived from the ancient Greek words lysis and aner , the meaning of which is roughly the release or the relaxation (each for lysis ) and the man (for aner ). Translated, her name would mean the freed or the men liberating , but also the rescuer . The name is now used in other parts of the world, including in the English-speaking area . Variations of the name include Lissandra , Lísandra , Lizandra or Lysandra .
