Lisandra Tena (born March 29, 1987 in Albuquerque , New Mexico ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Lola Guerrero in Fear the Walking Dead .

life and career

Lisandra Tena was born on March 29, 1987 in Albuquerque, the capital of the US state New Mexico, where she grew up and completed her school education. Her acting classes began in 2006 at Working Classroom in her hometown of Albuquerque, where she was trained by instructors from the Yale School of Drama , Naropa University and the Tectonic Theater Project , among others . After receiving a scholarship from Working Classroom , she attended The Theater School at DePaul University at the aforementioned DePaul University in Chicago , Illinois . She subsequently completed her acting studies there magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts . She made her first film appearances in notable productions during her time in Albuquerque, when she appeared in the feature film La Trinchera Luminosa del President Gonzalo directed by Jim Finn and in the short film Spinners by Joseph von Stern .

In 2011 she worked as a knife fighter on the short film The Cutback by Lehr Beidelschies . After graduating, she also played on various stages and appeared as an actress at the Chicago Goodman Theater , the Chicago Adventure Stage and the Chicago Collaboraction Theater . In 2013, she named Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune in the Top 10 Upcoming Talent in the Chicago Theater Scene.

In the same year she worked in collaboration with the MPAACT Theater on her one-woman show Guera , which premiered at the YoSolo Festival in Chicago. Up to this point in time, Tena had already had numerous assignments in commercials or in the voice-over area. In 2014 she played the character Lina Ochoa in two consecutive episodes of Chicago PD . Sarah Méndez García gave her the voice of Sarah Méndez García in the German-language dubbed version of the series . In the same year she also appeared in the short films Una mujer sin precio 1961 and Everything Will Be All Right and was then largely active again in the theater sector.
