Lisette Lombé

Lisette Lombé (born August 30, 1978 in Namur ) is a Belgian - Congolese poet , spoken word artist, Romance writer and mediator.

Live and act

Lisette Lombé worked as a teacher and job coach. She writes for women's magazines and organizes cultural events in which she creates texts, collages, performances and installations. She also runs writing workshops.

She is co-founder of the L-SLAM platform, which brings together poets from different generations and social classes. The workshops and performances enable the participants, among other things, to reflect on their own role in society and to break away from stereotypes of “male” or “female” behavior.

Her work Black Words was proposed for the Prix CoPo 2019.

  • 2nd place at the Prix ​​Paroles Urbaines (2015)
  • 3rd place at the Grand Poetry Slam National français (2017)
  • In 2017 she was made an honorary citizen of the city of Liège .
