Lissa Wales (born 1957 - October 1, 2005 in Phoenix , Arizona ) was an American photographer.

Life

Lissa Wales grew up in Valley and studied at Arizona State University . Lissa Wales became famous for her recordings of drummers, which she documented over twenty years. Her recordings have been published in magazines in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Lissa Wales had leukemia . On September 10, 2005, a big benefit concert was held in her honor at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix , organized by Troy Luccketta ( Tesla ). Some of the best drummers played together for them: Denny Seiwell ( Paul McCartney ), Chad Smith ( Red Hot Chili Peppers ), Danny Seraphine ( Chicago's first drummer ), Billy Ashbaugh ( * NSYNC ), Carmine Appice ( Vanilla Fudge / Rod Stewart ) , Jimmy DeGrasso (Ex- Megadeth ), Dom Moio ( Cinco De Moio ), Ken Mary ( House of Lords ) and Dom Famularo ( World Educator ).
