Listasavn Føroya is the Faroe Islands art museum . It is located in the island's capital Tórshavn and houses the most important collection of Faroese art. The architect was JP Gregoriussen .

The museum was founded in 1989 and consists of the Listaskáli art gallery, which has existed since 1970 , and the new museum gallery from 1993 with a floor area of ​​1,600 m². It is located on the northern edge of the Tórshavner Stadtpark and is about five minutes' walk from the House of the North .

In addition to the permanent exhibition of paintings, graphics and sculptures by Faroese artists, there are regular special exhibitions (including international art) and concerts.

The art museum is also the seat of the Faroe Islands Art Society, Listafelag Føroya. Local and international artists also have a graphics workshop available here.

As an independent institution, the museum is managed by a four-person committee, where the state government, the art society, the artists' association and the Tórshavn city council are each represented by one person.
