List of mayors of Veringenstadt
The city of Veringenstadt in Baden-Württemberg was founded by the Counts of Veringen around 1250 on the slope of Veringen Castle . Rudolf von Habsburg granted the city fairness for the market in 1285.
Veringenstadt has had the office of mayor since 1251 and the office of mayor from 1261 .
The mayors were the city lords' representatives, while the mayors were elected by the city council. In the course of time the mayors have lost their meaning.
Veringenstadt town hall
The mayors have had their official residence in the town hall of Veringenstadt since around 1415. This makes it the oldest town hall in Hohenzollern and is still used as town hall today.
