The city ​​of Veringenstadt in Baden-Württemberg was founded by the Counts of Veringen around 1250 on the slope of Veringen Castle . Rudolf von Habsburg granted the city fairness for the market in 1285.

Veringenstadt has had the office of mayor since 1251 and the office of mayor from 1261 .
