Cristian Maciel , full name Cristhian Stivens Maciel Gallo , (born February 12, 1992 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.74 meter tall midfielder Maciel, whose first name is also spelled Cristhian , has been in the squad of the Uruguayan first division team River Plate Montevideo since at least the 2012/13 season . That season he played two games (no goal) in the Primera División . In the following season 2013/14 he ran in three other first division matches. He also did not score a goal. In the Apertura 2014 he was used once (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. In early February 2015 he was loaned to the first division club Tacuarembó FC and played 13 league games (no goal) by the end of the season. At the end of the season he was relegated with the team. In the 2015/16 season he was used in 18 second division games (one goal). He then returned to River. With the Montevideans he then stayed without a competitive game with the professionals. He has been continuing his career at Deportivo Guastatoya since the beginning of January 2017 . For the Guatemalans he has so far (as of February 11, 2017) played in a league game (no goal).
