Coat of arms of the city of Feuchtwangen

The town of Feuchtwangen granted eight people honorary citizenship between 1869 and 1945 . It was the highest award the city bestowed.

In addition, Paul von Hindenburg and Adolf Hitler were made honorary citizens in 1933. These honors were revoked again in 1946 by decision of the Feuchtwang city council.

After the end of the war, this type of honor was waived. In its place, the town of Feuchtwangen's ring of honor was created in 1988 , which is now awarded as the highest honor to those people who have made outstanding contributions to the town or who have increased the town's reputation with outstanding achievements.

Note: The listing is done chronologically according to the date of award.
