The list of rivers in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island is sorted by catchment area . It does not claim to be complete.

Since the island of the same name is located in the middle of the St. Lawrence Gulf , all rivers flow into it and thus into the Atlantic Ocean . The part of the Gulf of St. Lawrence south of Prince Edward Island is the Northumberland Strait . The rivers are sorted according to catchment areas, the mouths of which are arranged clockwise around the island starting from the North Cape. Many of the rivers flow into the traditional island lagoon -like bays .

The status of the ( anadromous ) salmon population according to NASCO is listed in the column "Status of salmon population" .
