List of rivers in the Vorbach river system

The list of flowing waters in the Vorbach river system includes all direct and indirect tributaries of the Vorbach / Vorbach , which flows into the Tauber in Weikersheim , insofar as they are named in the maps of the city planning service of Euro-Cities AG or in the water network map of the LUBW . Nameless inlets and branches are not taken into account. Vorbach

The Vorbach is a 24.6 km long left tributary of the Tauber with a catchment area of 116.4 km².

Source of the Vorbach itself on the western edge of the Hirschschlag forest tip at about 471 m above sea level. NN .

Hetzengraben , from the right a little west-southwest of the Schrozberger Bahnhof im Brühl at 457.9 m above sea level. NN , 0.862 km. After a very short upper course, it flows from the Hetzenbrunnen to a 0.0546 hectare pond on the northern edge of the forest island of Oberloh at 469.7 m above sea level. NN .

Flows through in the western Schrozberg on Schulstrasse at about 452 m above sea level. NN a lake, 0.19 ha.

Könbronner Bach , from the left at the end of the initial Vorbach arc to the east and back across from the Urenberg at 389.7 m above sea level. NN , 0.87 km. Arises on the northern edge of Schrozberg-Könbronn at about 442 m above sea level. NN .

Otterbach , from the left between Könbronn and Niederstetten- Oberstetten along the municipal boundary from Schrozberg to Niederstetten at about 380 m above sea level. NN , 2.622 km and 3.743 km². Arises a little west of Schrozberg-Zell in the garden fields at about 460 m above sea level. NN .

Feeds in a row below 370 m above sea level. NN four individual lakes of 0.0932 ha, 0.0744 ha, 0.4443 ha and 1.1729 ha, the last two designated flood retention basins, down from which there is a large earth dam.

Bachbrunner Bächle , from the left a little south of Oberstetten at about 352 m above sea level. NN , 1.975 km and 1.892 km². Arises a little below the Oberstettener Weilerhof at about 455 m above sea level. NN .

Reutalbach , from the right in Oberstetten at 455 m above sea level. NN , 7.959 km from the source of the main line, 2.639 km exclusively as Reutalbach and 30.631 km². LUBW puts the main line together from the left upper course Talbach up to the confluence in the Reutalsee with the shorter and less catchment area right upper course Wildentierbach , a short remnant section Wildentierbach below that up to the confluence with the noticeably insignificant left Haldenbach and finally the lower course, which is unambiguously called Reutalbach, from then on.
- Wildentierbach -Oberlauf to Reutalsee, 4.394 km and 8.184 km². Arises north-east of Niederstetten-Wildentierbach in the Hifth Forest at about 464 m above sea level. NN .
- The confluence of the two upper courses in the 2.7867 ha large flood retention basin Reutalsee at about 390 m above sea level. NN . Its outflow is then called Wildentierbach for the next 0.626 km .
- Haldenbach , from the left about half a kilometer after the Reutalsee at the west
  bend of the brook at 369.9 m above sea level. NN , 2.521 km and 6.349 km². Arises immediately east of Schrozberg-Krailshausen at about 442 m above sea level. NN .
  - Aubach , from the right to 381.8 m above sea level. NN , 2.196 km and 2.265 km². Arises southeast of Niederstetten-Hachtel im Wasen at around 458 m above sea level. NN .

Stegmühlenbach , a few steps from the left before the Stegmühle, 1.953 km. Arises in the red at about 432 m above sea level. NN .

Dry valley Beckenmerkelsklinge , from the left between Ober- and Niederstetten. Blade length approx. 1.3 km.

Neuweilergraben , from the right in Niederstetten at the main road bridge to around 310 m above sea level. NN , 1.293 km. Arises in the Wildentierbacher Tal on the L 1020 at about 375 m above sea level. NN . Above at least as long dry valley.

Frickentalbach , from the left in Niederstetten, east of the confluence of Bahnhofsstraße and Oberstetter Straße at about 304 m above sea level. NN , 3.745 km and 8.9 km². Arises at Niederstetten-Sichertshausen at about 416 m above sea level. NN .

Ermershäuser Bach , from the left to 393.7 m above sea level. NN , 1.125 km. Arises near Niederstetten-Ermershausen at about 444 m above sea level. NN .
Schöntalbach ( Paradiesgraben ), from the left on the western edge of Niederstetten-Haltbergstetten at about 329 m above sea level. NN , 2.145 km. Arises at the upper end of the Eichhof at about 417 m above sea level. NN .

Quellengraben , from the left in Niederstetten-Vorbachzimmer at 280.7 m above sea level. NN , 0.193 km. Arises on the valley slope below 300 m above sea level. NN .

Departure of the Weikersheim-Laudenbacher Mühlbachs , to the right about half a kilometer before the village at about 260 m above sea level. NN

Ebertsbronner Bach , from the right in Laudenbach at the Vorbach bridge on Marienstraße at about 257 m above sea level. NN , 7.685 km and 14.047 km². Arises in the Löchle
west of Niederstetten-Dunzendorf at about 445 m above sea level. NN and crosses the Mühlbach in Laudenbach.

The Vorbach is 24.582 km long and has a catchment area of 116.387 km² behind it. The side branch Mühlbach joins the Tauber just 150 m further south-west downstream below a footbridge on the left side of the Heiligen Wöhr .
