Carlos Bielicki was named International Champion after winning the Junior World Championship in 1959.

The list of International Masters of 1959 lists all chess players who received the title of International Masters in 1959 from the World Chess Federation FIDE .

In January 2016, Carlos Bielicki and Miquel Farré i Mallofré , two of the five players honored at the time, were still alive. None of the five players was later awarded the title of Grand Master or Honorary Grand Master .

Legend

The table contains the following information:
