List of Jurchen chiefs during the Liao Dynasty (926–1115)

  • Wanyan Hanpu完顏 函 普 (金 始祖) (941–960)

The 毛 怜 Maolian Jurchen (1405–?)

Synonyms : Wu-liang-ha, Orankha, Oranke (兀良哈 / 乙 良 哈) according to Korean records, Orangai (瓦爾哈; オ ラ ン カ イ) according to Japanese records.
Settlement : They settled south of the Suifen River (绥芬河 or 速 平 江), in the northwest of Hui-ning or Hoeryong (회령; 會 寧; 会 寧) under the leadership of one of the sons of Ahacu (阿哈 出).

  • They were defeated by the Korean general Heo Jong 허종 (許 琮) (1434–1494) in 1491 under the rule of Seongjong of Joseon (see also 조 산보 (造 山 堡) and 나사 종 (羅 嗣 宗)).
