The list of cultural monuments in Friesen shows the cultural monuments of the Reichenbach district of Friesen , which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until February 2020 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

This list is a subset of the list of cultural monuments in Reichenbach in Vogtland .

1926 Precast wooden house, historically important. The only prefabricated wooden house in this version in Reichenbach, rectangular floor plan, one storey with knee floor, shutters on the ground floor, with the exception of a balcony extension in the knee floor, no changes to the external appearance, excellent original condition and state of preservation. The house was acquired at an in-house exhibition in Dresden and built on site in 1926. Significant interior fittings with built-in furniture in the kitchen, living room, bedroom and other rooms, original ceiling designs with ornamentation typical of the time, excellent artistic quality of the interior furnishings. This is also significant because it is only detectable here in this region. Gardens laid out with stairs, pond and historical plants. 09245336

19th century Material collection of the Friesen manor with the following individual monuments: partially demolished castle (No. 6a), administrator's house (No. 4), barn (No. 3a), two farm buildings (No. 1 and No. 2), the enclosure of the manor on the street and to the east of the manor two formerly crossing paths with partially preserved avenues and linden roundabout as well as grave complex (see also individual monument 09245331), also the manor gardens as a whole; of importance in terms of building history, local history and regional history. Path system only partially preserved. Important because there is a connection to the estate and the grave complex (grave complex at the end of the eastern path). 2nd half of the 19th century Significant in terms of building history, local history and technology history. Half-timbered upper floor boarded up, sloping weather, massive ground floor, completely preserved shower from the former forge, half-hipped roof, very good original condition, street view completely preserved. The blacksmiths' showers only survived in individual examples, as well as the plank covering under the shower. The location next to the inn at the intersection gives importance to the townscape. 09245339

1949 Buildings of architectural significance that are committed to the Heimat style, the residential house as a half-timbered house, rarity in this state, building ensemble typical of the landscape. Buildings in keeping with the traditional, centuries-old building tradition.
  • Residential building: with preserved block room, surrounding framework, stand with flattened head struts, upper floor timber-frame boarded with chamfers to drain the rainwater, tailcoat roof, part of the upper floor designed as a knee floor, the other eaves side as a full floor, porch, on the upper floor closed as a bay window with a saddle roof
  • Solid part of the stable with ashlar, dominant location, can be seen from afar, very good original condition and state of preservation, also applicable to the barn

1st half of the 19th century Upper floor with clad half-timbering, one of the few originally preserved rural residential and farm buildings in the town, of architectural significance. Massive ground floor with preserved door and window frames, half-hip roof, windows on the ground floor changed, structure of half-timbering essentially preserved, now boarded up. 09245330

Before 1900 (barn and second side building); around 1900 (first side building) Economic and regional historical significance. Important as a closed farm, as can only be found here and there in the village, typical buildings. Erroneously as Waltersdorfer Straße 2 in the official list of monuments.
  • First side building: massive, located on the street, flat gable roof, high entrance, good original condition
  • second side building: half-timbered upper floor
  • Barn: half-timbered, gable roof, connected to the side building

Remarks

  • This list is not suitable for deriving binding statements on the monument status of an object. As far as a legally binding determination of the listed property of an object is desired, the owner can apply to the responsible lower monument protection authority for a notice.
  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).
