List of cultural monuments in Wain
The list of cultural monuments in Wain includes all architectural and art monuments in the municipality of Wain and its suburbs . It is derived from the list of the State Monuments Office of Baden-Württemberg , the " Directory of immovable architectural and art monuments and the objects to be inspected ". This list was drawn up in December 2005. The partial list for the district of Biberach is as of April 16, 2009 and shows six immovable architectural and art monuments.
Wain
Wain was first mentioned in a document in 1259. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the small town was subordinate to the Protestant Free Imperial City of Ulm and not to a spiritual or secular territory , as is usual in Upper Swabia.
