The list of cultural monuments in Wiesa includes the cultural monuments of the Kamenz district of Wiesa, which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until July 2017 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

1890 The part of the bridge that crosses the street was demolished, which is of importance in terms of traffic and technology.
  • Bridge: natural stone ashlar pillars, above steel construction elements with regular struts (riveted), lateral cantilevers
  • Barrage and weir: bank reinforcement made of granite ashlars and natural stones

Small diesel locomotive LKM 251215 of the type LKM N4 , delivered to VEB Kombinat "Otto Grotewohl" Böhlen in 1958, stationed in the Espenhain section from 1969 , handed over to VEB Papierfabrik Hainsberg in 1975 , in 1991 erected as a memorial at the model railway shop in Sora , moved from Sora to Wiesa in 2015 , of significance in terms of technology history 09268630

1876 With largely unchanged external appearance and historic staircase, of architectural and local significance. Original cubature and proportions. Plastered building with plastered facings, indicated central projectile with triangular gable with profiled framing, original roof grille (lightning rod) on hipped roof with beaver tail covering, raised base (surrounding cornice), sandstone sills, middle entrance accented by gable and presented stairs with flanking wall cheeks (original entrance stairs with cassettes). Inside old floor plan structure, old coffered wooden doors, square granite slabs in the foyer, staircase with wrought iron handrail, granite posts of the enclosure still completely preserved. 09300431

Marked 1823 Grinding mill with cutting mill located in parallel, mill ditch still recognizable, bakery with old German oven, characteristic and largely completely preserved mill complex, of local and technical significance.
  • Mill building: Upper floor half-timbered, plastered, massive gable, quarry stone masonry, windows changed
  • 1994 existing mill technology: plansifter (very old), shotgun with very old vibrating shoe, grinding machine for grinding semolina (Landgraf & Sohn, Frankenhausen), grinding floor, stationary main gear, main transmission, overshot water wheel with iron blades (very desolate)

  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).
