List of cultural monuments in Zschepen

The list of cultural monuments in Zschepen includes the cultural monuments of the Delitzsch district of Zschepen , which were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until April 2020 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

This list is a subset of the list of cultural monuments in Delitzsch .

  • Church: plastered brick building with chancel closed on three sides and wide arched windows, set west tower with curved dome seated on sandstone consoles, two-storey portal vestibule in the south, extensive restoration by the German Foundation for Monument Protection 1995–1997, wooden barrel plastered inside, profiled ceiling mirror with acanthus and banding as well as fragments of the Formerly illusionistic ceiling painting, patron's box with slugs on the upper floor of the portal vestibule, uniform furnishings from 1700, pulpit altar only partially preserved, three figural sandstone grave monuments on the north wall of the hall, richly adorned with cartilage (17th century), grave slabs of the former manor owners of Karthaus (Anton Wilhelm, died 1869) attached to the eastern and western outer walls
  • two iron crosses: in neo-Gothic style on a natural stone base in front of the west side of the church (mid-19th century)
