This list shows the governors of the crown land Duchy of Bukovina at the time of the rule of the Habsburg Empire.
Short Story
According to the constitution for the Cisleithan countries of 1861 ( February patent ), the emperor appointed a country chief for each crown country (in Bukovina: state president ) as the representative of the emperor as sovereign and the kk government in Vienna. Furthermore, the emperor appointed a member of the state parliament as governor with the function of state parliament chairman and chairman of the executive committee of the state parliament called the state committee .
