The following list names the well-known and historical facilities and structures that have been built in Spain for the national sport of pelota since 1884. Some of the pelota stadiums are now a listed building.

The mostly centrally located Frontón venues have playgrounds that are between 35 and 70 meters long and up to 20 meters wide, depending on the game variant. In addition to the classic open-air frontóns, there are also covered frontóns with grandstands, especially in cities, which can seat up to 2500 spectators.

A subspecies of the frontons is also called Trinquete referred to, especially in Latin America . Especially in Argentina it is the official name of the modern homologated places for pelota sport. In the region of Valencia the name Trinquete is also used and differs with the game version pelota valenciana from the pelota vasca , which are played with the hand or with clubs.
