history
As long as the Aura monastery existed, there was no parish in the village. The parish of Aura was founded in 1669 by Prince Bishop Johann Philipp von Schönborn . This ended the pastoral care of the community from the neighboring town of Euerdorf , which had been given since the dissolution of the Aura monastery in 1564.
