The English musicologist Barry Cooper published a symphony movement in 1988 with the tempo designation Andante - Allegro - Andante as Symphony No. 10 in E flat major , which is based on Beethoven's sketches for his 10th symphony from 1822-1825. This symphony movement has already been recorded on CD several times.
The so-called Jena Symphony , which was discovered in 1909, was considered to be Beethoven's youth work for several decades and was accordingly declared on older recordings, has been identified as a work by Friedrich Witt since 1968 .
