List of Mumbai municipalities
This is a list of Mumbai's boroughs .
Mumbai is divided into two districts (Mumbai City District and Mumbai Suburban District) and six zones. These are divided into 24 city districts (wards). Numbers were assigned to the zones and letters to the city districts. The city districts are still divided into numerous districts and neighborhoods. Wards A through G are in the Mumbai City District and the remaining wards are in the Mumbai Suburban District.
The population figures in the following table refer to the census of March 1, 2001.
