In 1212, the family of the Perwarther (presumably "Bärenwarte") was first mentioned. The fortress of Hochperwarth existed until 1410. At that time the Perwarther were involved in a dispute about succession with the Wallseern , who destroyed and burned down the castles of the small Erlauftal , including Hochperwarth, in a punitive expedition . Some remains of the wall, part of the moat and the earth wall can still be seen. |
