In 1212, the family of the Perwarther (presumably "Bärenwarte") was first mentioned. The fortress of Hochperwarth existed until 1410. At that time the Perwarther were involved in a dispute about succession with the Wallseern , who destroyed and burned down the castles of the small Erlauftal , including Hochperwarth, in a punitive expedition . Some remains of the wall, part of the moat and the earth wall can still be seen.

Three-storey, almost square complex with three round corner towers and an axial gate tower. Built 1555–1561, after several changes of ownership since 1834 imperial, since then it has continued to decline.

Formerly a square complex consisting of a keep, hall and bering . Built in the High Middle Ages, deteriorating since the 16th century.
