The list of Luxembourg ambassadors in Portugal lists the ambassadors of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Portugal . The first Luxembourg embassy in Portugal was opened in Lisbon on December 7, 1988 , in the presence of the foreign ministers of the two countries, Jacques F. Poos and João de Deus Pinheiro . Since 2003, the Luxembourg ambassador to Portugal has also been accredited in Cape Verde .
