The list of Mexican theatrical films of 1916 includes all feature films made in Mexico that year. That year, the historical film 1810 o los libertadores de México, the first Mexican film to run for over an hour, was shot. Altogether there were two feature films from Mexico this year and one shot in New York City , which is generally considered a Mexican film.

The information in this list is based on David E. Wilt's book, The Mexican Filmography 1916 through 2001 , which has provided the most complete filmography for Mexico.
