The list of planned ships of the Kriegsmarine contains ships that were planned or considered by the former German Kriegsmarine and some of which were also started to be built, but which were not completed and put into service.

- Graf Zeppelin , construction started in 1936 (never operational)
- Aircraft carrier B (construction designation), construction started in 1938 ( broken off on slipway in 1940 )
- Seydlitz , 1942 conversion from heavy cruiser to aircraft carrier started (not completed)
- De Grasse , 1942 conversion from light cruiser to aircraft carrier ordered (not completed)
- Europe , 1942 conversion from a passenger ship to an aircraft carrier ordered. Abandoned in the same year due to technical problems
- Gneisenau , 1942 conversion from a passenger ship to an aircraft carrier ordered. Gone too slowly in the same year
- Potsdam 1942 Conversion from a passenger ship to an aircraft carrier, then to a training aircraft carrier. Conversion work hardly started (not finished)
- Ostmark , 1942 Completion of the new freighter as an aircraft carrier considered. Given up
- Joffre , captured French aircraft carrier lying on a pile. 1942 Considerations for the prefabricated building. Given up

- 6 planned units with the designations H – N, of which H and J were started in 1939 but not completed.
- Sowjetskaja Ukraina , 1941–42 Considerations for the prefabricated construction of the captured Soviet battleship lying on the pile. Completion not done

- 3 units with the construction designations O, P and Q, the construction of which was commissioned in 1939, but not realized.

- Order placed for SP 1 to SP 6 in 1941. Only SP 1 put on the pile, but not completed.

- KH 1 (Kreuzer Holland 1) captured lying on a pile in Holland in 1940. Continued construction for the Kriegsmarine, but not completed.
- KH 2 (Kreuzer Holland 2) captured lying on a pile in Holland in 1940. Continued construction for the Kriegsmarine, but not completed.
