List of further training courses for art therapy in Austria
In Austria, art therapy, similar to psychotherapy, is offered exclusively as further training by private providers. Graduates who complete a four-year advanced training course according to the framework curriculum can become members of the ÖFKG professional association . On the one hand, there are efforts in Austria to recognize art therapy according to the Psychotherapy Act - or with an independent professional law - similar to music therapy .
