Henndorf Literature House

The Henndorf literary house is located in the municipality of Henndorf am Wallersee in the province of Salzburg . The house where the poet Johannes Freumbichler (1881–1949) was born is used as a house of literature . The former town house is a listed building .
The two-story brick house under a gable roof shows a boarded gable. It stands a little below the parish church Henndorf next to a stepped staircase to the church.
In addition to readings and events, the Literaturhaus also sees itself as a museum and archive for the Henndorfer Kreis .
