Litla Marøya is an island at the northern end of the Gandsfjord in the Norwegian province of Rogaland . It belongs to the area of the city of Stavanger .
The uninhabited barren island is about one kilometer east of the Stavanger peninsula. The slightly larger island of Stora Marøya is only about 260 meters to the southwest . To the west is the small archipelago island of Klovnaskjer . A little further northeast Fladaskjeret .
Litla Marøya is elongated in north-south direction over about 400 meters, with a width of up to 100 meters. It reaches a maximum height of eleven meters. It is divided into a north and south part, which are connected by an isthmus about 50 meters wide .
The island is designated as Litla Marøya nature reserve.
