Little Sark Dolmen

The Little Sark Dolmen is located near the sea, in the south of the Little Sark peninsula connected to the Sark channel island by the isthmus of “La Coupée” . On the way to the "Rouge Terrier" pier, the dolmen can be seen in the southwest. After crossing a meadow and a fence , you came to the dolmen.

The only partially preserved, lichen- encrusted dolmen consists of the large, roughly triangular capstone and five supporting stones that form the end of an incomplete chamber that lies in the remains of their hill, the border of which is missing. According to Mark Patton, there was an ax production center for dolerite axes of the "P" type in Jersey . These axes have been found on Sark but not on the mainland.
