In the 1990s, the band had some major country hits. She has sold over four million CDs to date and has been nominated for three Grammys.
history
Little Texas was founded in 1984 as a quartet. First , Tim Rushlow and Dwayne O'Brien from Oklahoma got together. Texans Porter Howell and Duane Propes followed a year later. The band, still without a definitive name, gave the first concerts and went on a longer tour. At a gig in Massachusetts , Brady Seals and Del Gray were met and spontaneously joined. In 1988 the group signed a recording deal with Warner Brothers and named themselves Little Texas (after Little Texas Road , where their former rehearsal room was). A short time later, the first single was released - Some Guys Have All The Love , which sold respectably and advanced to the country top 10. After the surprising success, the album First Time For Everything was quickly produced, from which four successful singles were released. All songs were composed by the band members themselves.
Her second album was released in 1993: Big Time , which sold one and a half million copies. The single My Love made it to number 1. The line dance number "God Blessed Texas" from this album became the group's signature song and is still one of the most popular line dance songs to this day. Brady Seals was instrumental in writing all of these songs. The next album, Kick A Little , also went platinum in 1995. Here, too, some successful singles were released. In the same year Brady Seals left the sextet and was replaced by Jeff Huskins. In 1996, the album Greatest Hits was awarded gold. Two years later the CD Little Texas was recorded, but it could not build on the success of its predecessor. Then the band broke up.
Brady Seals has released four solo albums: The Truth (1997), Brady Seals (1998), Thompson Street (2001) and Play Time (2009). He could land half a dozen minor country hits. Another You, Another Me was the only one to make the top 40. In 2005 he founded the band Hot Apple Pie. Tim Rushlow also tried his hand at solo. His solo debut Tim Rushlow in 2001 was only partially successful. With She Misses Him he had a top 10 success in the country charts.
In 2007, after ten years, Little Texas made a comeback, but without Seals and Rushlow.
