The Little Wittenham Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the River Thames at Little Wittenham in Oxfordshire , England .
The bridge crosses the Thames in two sections, interrupted by a small island on which the Day's Lock keeper's house has stood since 1928 .
The current iron bridge, which cost £ 250 to build , replaced a swing bridge on this site circa 1870.
The bridge hosted the Poohsticks World Championships from 1984 to 2014 .
