Liturgical yearbook
The Liturgical Yearbook (subtitle: Quarterly Books for Questions of Divine Service ), LJ for short, is the leading Roman Catholic liturgical journal in the German-speaking area. The Liturgical Yearbook has been published by the German Liturgical Institute since 1951 . The first editor of the magazine was Joseph Pascher ; Jürgen Bärsch currently holds this position. The LJ takes up current questions of worship in order to analyze them from the anthropological, historical and theological basis and to place them in the overall context of church life. It offers background information on the most important events in the field of liturgy outside of the German-speaking area.
