LiuGong , officially Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., is a Chinese multinational construction machinery company based in Liuzhou , China. It is the 10th largest construction machinery manufacturer in the world by market share and the world's largest manufacturer of wheel loaders.

LiuGong was founded in Liuzhou in 1958. Products include wheel loaders, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, forklifts, motor graders, excavators, long reach excavators, rollers, truck and crawler cranes, pavers, mini excavators, drills, dump trucks, concrete equipment and cold planners. The company's stock is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange .

LiuGong manufactured the first modernized wheel loader in China in 1966 and the first articulated and oversized wheel loaders in 1976. In 1993, it became China's first publicly traded construction machinery manufacturer. In order to use the advantages of western technologies, she entered into a joint venture with the German transmission manufacturer ZF in 1995, a partnership that still exists today. In 2000, LiuGong acquired the Jiangyin Roller Company and soon expanded its product range to include a total of 12 different product lines. These lines include a full range of construction machinery and specialty machines such as industrial trucks and mobilized cranes. Today LiuGong offers 14 different product lines.

In February 2012 LiuGong acquired the construction machinery division Huta Stalowa Wola and Dressta Co, Ltd. in Stalowa Wola, Poland.

LiuGong employs over 11,000 people worldwide and has 24 production facilities as well as around 2,650 sales outlets and 380 dealers. To support the dealer network, there are 10 regional branches with engineering, marketing and service support as well as 10 spare parts stores worldwide. Joint ventures

Guangxi Cummins Industrial Power

On October 20, 2011, LiuGong and Cummins Inc. signed a joint venture agreement to build a new production facility for mid-range engines in Liuzhou, Guangxi Province, southern China. The joint venture, called Guangxi Cummins Industrial Power Co. Ltd. should start producing engines that meet Tier 2 and Tier 3 emissions by 2013. The engines will be fully localized in China. Liuzhou ZF Machinery

Liuzhou ZF Machinery Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between LiuGong (49%) and ZF Friedrichshafen (51%) that manufactures drivetrains and parts of drivetrains for construction machinery. Both shareholders, ratified by the Guangxi People's Government, signed the JV contract on December 12, 1995 in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, and the business license was approved in the same year.

Beijing Capital Steel Heavy Duty Truck

LiuGong holds 42% of the shares in Beijing Capital Steel Steel Heavy Duty Truck Co. Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Beijing Capital Steel Mining Co. The terms of the acquisition of the stake were not disclosed.
