Liu Sijia ( Chinese  劉斯佳  /  刘斯佳 , Pinyin Liú Sījiā ; born July 20, 1988 in Harbin ) is a Chinese curler . She currently plays as Skip.

Career

Sijia started her international career at the Junior Pacific Curling Championship in 2008, where she won the silver medal lead in Sun Yue's team. After another silver medal in 2009, she won the gold medal in 2010 as third in the team led by Liu Jinli . As a result, the Chinese junior team qualified for the 2010 Junior World Championship . There Sijia played as Skip and came in seventh place with her team.

In adults, she was used internationally for the first time at the 2010 Pacific Championship as a lead in Wang Bingyu 's team; the team won the silver medal. She celebrated her greatest success so far at the 2014 Pacific Asian Cup , where she led the Chinese team to the gold medal as Skip. The title defense the following year , however, did not succeed, she had to be satisfied with the bronze medal. At the Pacific Asia Cup in 2018 , playing again as Skip, she came in third again.

Sijia has competed twice in the World Cup so far , each as a skip of the Chinese women's team. In 2014 she finished seventh and in 2015 she finished fifth.
