Liviu Ianoș

Liviu "Iani" Ianoș (born March 8, 1968 in Roman ) is a Romanian handball goalkeeper and handball coach .

The 1.91 meter tall goalkeeper played for the clubs Dacia Piteşti , Steaua Bucharest (both Romania) and from July 1997 at SG Leutershausen (Germany), before he went to Stralsund AG in July 2003 . After the end of the 2006/2007 season, Liviu Ianoş went back to SG Leutershausen in June 2007, where he played in the first team and coached the second team. The trained locksmith also worked there. He currently (since 2010) looks after the A-youth and the perspective team (2nd men's team) of SG Leutershausen.

Ianoş played 107 games for the Romanian national team in his career . He was part of the national team at the 1990, 1997 and 1999 World Championships and at the 1987 and 1989 Junior World Championships.
