Lyubtscho Djakow ( Bulgarian Любчо Дяков ; born May 17, 1954 in Jambol ) is a former Bulgarian sports shooter .
successes
Lyubcho Djakov was three times a participant in the Olympic Games . In 1976 he took 18th place with the Free Pistol in Montreal . Four years later he reached third place in this competition in Moscow with 565 points, together with two other shooters behind Alexander Melentjew and Harald Vollmar . Since Djakov's last series were better than those of his competitors, he was awarded the bronze medal. At the 1988 Olympics in Seoul , he finished the competition with the free pistol in 23rd place. In addition, he competed with the air pistol for the first time and was also ranked 23rd with it. He was twice successful at world championships : In 1981 in Santo Domingo he secured silver with the air pistol in the individual competition, while he won the world title with the team. In 1987 he won the bronze medal in both competitions in Budapest .
