Lyudmila Novak
Ljudmila Novak (born August 1, 1959 in Maribor ) is a Slovenian politician of the Nova Slovenija party - Krscanska Ljudska Stranka .
Life
Novak worked as a teacher for Slovenian and German as well as a supervisory teacher at the middle school center in Murska Sobota , a girls' home in Višnja Gora and a vocational school for disabled young people in Kamnik . From 2001 to 2004 she was the mayor of Moravče .
Novak was a member of the party council of the Nova Slovenija party from 2002 to 2004, and was its chairman from 2008 to 2018. From 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the European Parliament . In 2011 she moved to the Slovenian Parliament , and was from February 2012 to March 2013 as Minister for the Slovenian diaspora in the Cabinet Janša II member of the government . In the early elections in 2014 , her party managed to get back into parliament.
