Loadsheet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The load sheet (including load and trim sheet to German " load and trim paper") is a necessary for the implementation of a traffic flight charging document.

It is created as part of the flight preparation and records in particular the weight and distribution of passengers , kerosene , as well as freight, luggage and mail, as well as the aids necessary for the implementation of the flight, such as cabin crew , drinking water and catering . The load sheet must be calculated before each flight and created either manually or with the help of a computer system and enables the calculation of the current masses of the aircraft, as well as the representation of the distribution of the total load within the aircraft, as well as the center of gravity of the aircraft.

The document is less and less issued in paper form, but increasingly transmitted directly to the cockpit of an aircraft via ACARS ( Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System ) before the start of the flight. With his signature on the load sheet, the ramp agent confirms that no more than the authorized passengers are on board.
